is in Fort Lauderdale

Located 23 miles north of Miami, Fort Lauderdale now has a population of 183,109, according to US Census 2020. From being the domain of spring-breakers, Fort Lauderdale has also seen a change in the composition of residents.

There are many empty nesters and new residents from the northeast, especially those from New York who may have been snowbirds before but are now calling Fort Lauderdale their home and place of work and business.

It’s a place once known primarily for soaking up the sea air and people-watching sun worshippers at the beach but it has become more than that. It has welcomed new residents working for Miami startups.

Nearby is Las Olas Boulevard, a lively commercial strip that connects the beach to the downtown area – with its upscale shops, dining, and historic districts. Take a water taxi to get up close to the mansions and boats in Millionaires Row. Also check out the Fort Lauderdale Riverwalk as well as the Arts and Entertainment District.

Fort Lauderdale is also where we redesigned the conference room of the Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce. Maintaining 200 high level meetings annually requires a good communications system. We implemented a microphone system to capture and output high quality audio throughout the conference room as well as a projector to display the speakers’ presentation clearly.

We also used blinds to create a dark comfortable environment so presentations can set the tone and keep the group focused.
